Hello again EGL! I'm posting once again for the April twinning theme.
Me and my friend Sara (antik_poesi) recently discovered that we own quite a few of the same dresses. So when the twinning theme was announced we came up with the idea to try and make as many twinning coordinates as possible!
Under the cut are the five twinning coordinates we put together.
We finally had time to take photos this Sunday. It was quite a challange to take photos of five outfits in the same day! But we had very very fun while doing it.
It was also quite a challange to put together all five coordinates with just things we own, even though we have many multiple items! So sometimes we had to settle with things that maybe not match perfectly. And I took advantage of my black hair to wear black shoes when we just had one pair of white in the same style, hehe.
We are actually the same height too, but I somehow manage to look longer in almost all photos. Don't know how that happend.
The first twinning coordinate is of Baby's Dessert OP. I have it in yellow and Sara have it in white. I actually got this one from Sara, best present ever!
Details! Similar necklaces, flower corsages, and hairpins.
We matched our jewelry too!
Second coordinate, with Baby's Tartan check scalloped hem jsk! I have it in a pinkXblue colourway and Sara has it in beigeXbrown. This dress is the beeeest! We both agree that this is a dress you could have in many colours. It's so comfy and perfect for everyday use, but still so pretty!
This timed we matched with sidebows and IW's ankle boots.
Third coordinate is once more for a Baby print! Angel's window this time. I have the skirt in pink and Sara have the highwaist jsk in navy. Some time in the future I will try to change my skirt to the pink highwaist jsk, it's much easier to use (since the skirt waist is 62 cm, ick!).
This time we matched with rocking horse shoes and a flower headband from Monki that we just happened to both own. We also have the same necklace, even though they are barely visible. They are crosses, we thought it was fitting with the religious theme in the print.
Next up, we decided to do a kuro/shiro twinning. Even though we're not wearing the same type of dress, we were able to get our outfits very alike!
We are matching with Baby's heart bag, AP's petit crown shoes, bonnets, parasols, gloves and socks.
And lastly, a coordinate with AP's Magical Étoile! I have the highwaist jsk in sax and Sara have the skirt in pink. So we decided to make matching pinkXblue coords (why, I love pinkXblue!).
We are matching with hair combs from Baby, pearl necklaces, tea party shoes from AP and pastel scrunchies!
That was it! And now..... omake!
You can't expect us to stay serious through all these pictures....
We want YOU to join the lolita army!
I'll just let this picture speeks for itself...
Lolitas can't get together... Naaaa just kidding!
Thank you for watching! We had so much fun doing this, so if you ever have the opportunity to twin, do it! It's so much fun.
Have a nice day!
