I've use the service for two years, with no issue. On Mbok it's stated you can't Snipe Bid. I had an item I wanted on Mbok with a very low auction price of 5000yen. I decided to put in a form in with a Max bid of 10000yen, giving me a lot of space to hopefully win the auction if a bidding war would break out. I asked to put an instant bid of 5000yen. I would have selected Snipe Bid but figured by telling the person to instant bid at 5000yen, they would listen. And they did. With less than 12 hours I had a bid of 5000y en. But this morning I look at the auction and found the auction site, bid against myself..... Where the bid was 5000yen then bid 10000yen against myself and now I am outbid ... I've told them previously to instant bid a small bid and then they would only bid again if the item was being bid on by someone else. And I've never seen the service bidding against myself and putting in my max bid price, which still baffles me as to why you would use that tactic? Especially since most people would prefer a lower auction price.
Should I be selecting instant bid + snipe bid? Even though this cannot be used for Mbok? It's been a while since I've used the service and Im wondering if there were changes?
