Frill 2013 is right around the corner!

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to take a moment and remind the community that Frill- A Lolita Convention is only TWO months away!

For those of you who haven't heard, Frill is the first convention completely dedicated to Lolita fashion in the United States, and serves the community by providing an incredible retreat to enjoy with Lolita friends new and old. With over 60% out of state attendance, Frill is a great way to meet new friends and network with like-minded individuals! Lolita road trip anyone?!

Frill is organized and operated in the artsy Atlanta district of Decatur, Georgia, and brings the Lolita
experience to the East Coast in a big way! Join us in our second year for a weekend full of Lolita related panels and activities, a fashion show, games, raffles, parties, and of course... -so- much shopping! Our Dealers Room and Artist's Alley offer the very best in local designer's wares, while our Frill Boutique provides easy access to Lolita designers who otherwise cannot attend in person, including this year's featured Japanese designers:
Innocent World and Atelier Pierrot.

Additionally, if you're interested in trading up, consider offering your garments and accessories in our ever-popular consignment shop!

All ticket prices increase on April 15, so take advantage of one of our TWO registration promotions in order to get the very best deal!
More Information Here!

There are only 7 hotel rooms left that offer the Frill discount, so book today!

Affrilliation is proud to announce that the following main events have already been confirmed for Frill 2013:

Friday
Frill Fashion Walk
Inspired by the ever-popular Harajuku Fashion Walk, we’ll begin the weekend with a quick tour of the area… all while showcasing your style! Come photo-ready, because we’ll be taking lots!
Kick Off Pool Party
After the Fashion Walk, meet us back at the pool for our Friday Night Kick Off Pool Party! Bring a cute swimsuit and come chill out with your fellow convention attendees.
Saturday
Tea Dueling
Presented by it’s founder, Wilhelmina Frame, Tea Dueling is a fun competition in which two contestants each dunk a tea biscuit into their cup of tea for a count of five. Then, without spilling the tea or allowing the biscuit to crumble, the contestants must eat the biscuit. The last contestant to achieve a “clean nom” is declared the winner!
Lolita Speed-Friending
Similar to speed-dating, each participant will be given just a few minutes to interact with every other participant in order to get to know your fellow attendees. We’ll have some questions ready to get you started, and who knows? Maybe you’ll meet your new lolita BFF!
The Petticoat Persuasion Game
Not a game for the limp-skirted! The object of this (super-silly!) game is to “persuade” the petticoat off of the other players and bystanders and add it to your own, growing collection! Feel free to play as an individual, or to work together! The player with the most petticoats at the end of the game wins!
Theater Showing of “Kamikaze Girls”
It just wouldn’t be a lolita convention without a showing of Novala Takemoto’s infamous film, Kamikaze Girls! After a long day of panels and shopping, drop in and take a breather before Frill After Dark!
The Artifice Club Presents:  Frill After Dark- A Dandies And Darlings Dance
Our Saturday night mixer featuring tunes spun by the fabulous DJ Doctor Q of the Artifice Club, live music, cocktails, and of course, the Frill Fashion Show!
Official Frill After Dark After Party
Join Affrilliation as we take the party down the street for a midnight snack and some craft cocktails! Location TBA.
Sunday
Frill Tea Luncheon
Join Affrilliation as we wrap up the weekend with a relaxing tea party! Tea Sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, a variety of delicious sweets, and your selection of tea or coffee will be provided.
Note: Due to catering requirements, tickets unfortunately cannot be sold at the door!
