A damaged dress from Bodyline

Hello egl,

Do you guys have enough of Bodyline's drama? Because I have a new one for you.

The story started on 12th January, I asked my friend who went to Japan to bought some jsks for me one was L481 in purple another was L515 in yellow. TheL481 was fine like any normal Bodyline products but the L515 wasn't.

When my friend came back and took the dresses to me, still we didn't see anything wrong with the dress until I took the dress out to wash. I noticed that some parts of the dress was discolored, especially the front of the bodice.

I contacted bodyline and told them what happened and show them the picture. They replied me (thanks gosh!) they said this was the first something like this happened. And said that they would refund me half the price or I had to ship it to them and
they would ship the new one back to me. Of course, I would have to pay for the shipping cost. I replied them and said I wasn't satisfied. It wasn't my fault that their product was damaged in the way that seemed like the product was kept poorly in the storage. I told them that they would have to send me a new one without me returning the damaged dress back and I would pay the shipping of the new dress or if they wanted the damaged dress back they would have to pay the shipping for returning. I also asked them why want it back since they couldn't resell it and neither did I. They said they want to confirm the damage in person and they would never pay the shipping if I didn't want to pay the I had to took the dress to the shop to get it changed. Luckily, my friend told me that her friend would go back to japan on a business trip and she could ask her friend to change the dress for me. So I contacted
them again (after they seemed to ignore me) that someone would take the dress to their shop and got it change for me. They replied(huh!) me that they acknowledged this and the process in exchanging the dress blahblah.

However, today my friend contacted me that the staff didn't change the dress as no one informed them about this. They called
the office and the office said they didn't get informed either. So who the hell replied my emails? From what I can see they didn't want to take full responsibility in the first place. Did they lie to me when they said they would changed the dress for me?

I've been holding off from telling people on the internet since things happened because at lest they contacted me back.

This is my last straw with them so I decided to let the world know of my horrible experience.

Thank you for reading my story so far.

Edit: Thank you for every inputs and suggestions. I admitted that some part of it was really my stupidity. Since this case is closed and this is the result that I'd like to shared with people.  I don't expect anything anymore and I'm not angry with bodyline anymore too. At least I've tried to sort thing out, I might lost in negotiation but I've also gained a good friendship in return. Beside someone already wants to take care of this dress for me (that was unexpected).  Sorry if I irritate anyone. Also please excuse me if I couldn't  reply to every comments or late to reply.
