Almost 7 years later, I've survived 2or 3 hiatuses, quit the fashion 'cold turkey', and sold off my entire collection twice. I don't think I was ready for Lolita at the time but through the maturation, a frilly sabbatical and becoming an adult I've found deeper enjoyment of the fashion! I returned to it in January 2012 and have had a flippin' blast ever since. I love Lolita fashion for the elegance, it's uniqueness, and for the social life. My inspirations for items in my wardrobe and wishlist is 18th century, Rococo Era, and Regency era, with a little bit of Victorian/Edwardian.
I've made amazing friends and wonderful experiences and memories that I don't think I could have appreciated or had years before. I started out as a Sweet Lolita and transitioned to this classic, gothic, sweet hybrid style. My wardrobe is small and still growing, every piece in it has sentimental value, that is either I purchased the item myself or it was gifted to me by very dear friends. Most of my findings are offbrand, outlet shopping, thrifting, and other sources. I make everything I own work in my wardrobe down to my jewelry, handbags, and shoes!
I just relocated to a new state and currently looking for work, so I'm very content with my wardrobe, of course I have a wishlist but for the time being, I'm very happy and proud of it. If I win Mega Millions or Powerball, at that point I will force a wardrobe post upon EGL like no one has ever seen because honestly after I donate money to various charities, set my family up, I'm going shopping!

My wardrobe would not be complete with two staples to all my Lolita coordinates.
These are my 2 favorite jerseys...there are more!

Still trying to work this into a coordinate in some way...it's massive, I thought it was tote size.
But you never know when you'll need a big bag...
