I've been in Lolita for about a year now, and it has helped to add a nice aesthetic to my room. Although I don't have a vast amount of it, I am content with the amount I have. Since I have no room in my actual closet, my lolita clothes are displayed and stored outside of it.
I still have many plans for my room design wise since my room is quite too 'sweet' for me and I want to go more in the classic direction. The major changes I'd like to make is to change the paint colour from light pink to a more dusty pink or mauve, and then a chandelier in the middle of my room, but that will wait until spring and second term of university is over!
What it looks like directly to the left when you enter my room.
I plan to put a floral pattern on my closet and possibly get different styled closet doors.
Close up of the dress rack.
My dress form with an outfit. I like to use this more as a decoration rather than planning actual outfits. Since it's 'officially' winter here with vast amount of snow and cold temperatures, I though it fitting to put one of my scarves on the dress form.
My accessories place, I don't have a proper place to really store/ display my accessories yet, that will be done in spring. For now I don't have many accessories so I can get away with just having them on top of my dresser.
All my classic style bags. The more sweet ones stay on my closet since this shelf isn't wide enough for the couple left over.
My small messy side table (?) with a lot of every day needs such as make up bag, text books, perfume, etc...
A Liz Lisa keyboard. I love floral and there aren't many cute keyboards around, so I am glad I can have at least one computer accessory that is cute.
Top shelves of my desk. A lot of my plushes and figurines are put away as I really don't have room for all of them, so I like to just display my favourite ones.
The Innocent World bag looks silly there, but I just love their bags!
And finally the end!
Thank you for looking!
