So, I had my shopping service ship an AP dress that I won on MBok via EMS. I haven't used EMS before, although I'm kinda familiar with the tracking terms they use thanks to posts here on EGL. I know that "Arrival at inward office of exchange" usually means that the package is in your country awaiting processing in Customs, so I've been waiting patiently for that phrase to pop up... until I saw this:
The customs post office that they have listed is Sydney. I live in the United States on the East Coast. Shouldn't my "inward office of exchange" be JFK in New York? I'm
EDIT 1: Popped my tracking # into Australia Post's site and I get this:
Either they gave me the wrong tracking number, or they just plain sent my stuff to Australia, because now it's in a suburb some 15km west of Sydney. I could be wrong, but feel like if it was merely routing through Sydney, it wouldn't be in the local mail system in transit.

Problem solved! It looks like my shopping service did, in fact, give me the wrong tracking number! :) My dress is currently sitting in customs at JFK International Airport, and I eagerly await it's arrival.
