Last week, I ordered a black Misty Sky skirt from the international webshop, and I received notification that it had shipped this past Monday, the 19th. I've been keeping an eye on the tracking because I was hoping it would arrive before I left town for vacation on Wednesday night. It didn't show up in my mailbox on Wednesday, and when I went to check the tracking information I got a nasty surprise- the skirt had been delivered to San Francisco, which is located roughly two hours away from my house. My address had been correctly input and I've never had an SF address, so it was clearly some kind of error on AP's end. In spite of that, I'm pretty nervous- AP International has a reputation for pretty crummy customer service, so I'm worried that I may be out both a rare skirt and $275. My e-mail to them was met with a request to check with their international shipment service and a comment saying I could buy the skirt again if it didn't arrive (Gee, thanks, AP, for letting me spend $550 on one skirt), and so far the shipping service has not responded.
So I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue and what they've been able to do to resolve it? Does AP's shipping service have a history of mixing up tracking numbers? Or am I looking at a case where someone's lucked out and wound up with my skirt for free? Also, I'm maybe wondering if there's a small chance that someone here may have wound up with a mistaken tracking number for their item and they may be able to help supply me with the correct number :)
Thank you in advance~!
