Pop Princess @ Otakon 2012 Lolita Fashion Show & a thank you!
Before we get started, I just wanted to say thank you! I have a lot of people to be thankful for, including all of you girls in
this community who jumped right in with both feet with enthusiasm and support when I made a model call a few weeks ago
for the Otakon Lolita Fashion Show. I was literally overwhelmed with happiness at the support that came into my inbox
as well as the comments of those of you wanting to model for and support Pop Princess. Thank you for being there when I
needed you! <3
I know there were so many of you girls that submitted your entry to try out, and even though I could only choose 5 of you, I wish
I could have worked with all of you since each of you were very sweet in your own way! For those of you that tried, but didn't get
chosen I just want to say thank you, and don't be blue---there will be more shows in the future, I promise!
For my models: you made my experience so wonderful, and full of smiles! I could not have asked for more supportive, cute, and hard working girls. I adore you!
For the girls running the show: You worked so hard, on such short notice, with only a few of you running everything back stage---you all deserved a round of applause! I've never been in a show where someone will literally take off their petticoat because one of your model's needed them! And Kelsey, from I Do Declare, was such a peach and even though she must have been stressed out of her head running and being in the show, was always so sweet to all designers and models, always asking if we were okay. <3
For the audience: Thank you for introducing yourselves, and making me feel so special! I loved meeting everyone of you!
