Goodwill Lolita?

As terrible as it is to wish misery on others, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced the dreaded scenario of "the item that won't sell". Prints and styles go in and out of fashion, and I'm sure many of us know that the chances of making back what we spent on used clothing is usually quite rare. But what about when you simply can't sell the item at ALL?

Personally, I severely dislike having unused clutter taking up space in my home, and once I decide I have no use for something I attempt to get rid of it asap. However, with higher priced items such as Lolita, I try to sell first. But some things that are in perfect condition just simply refuse to be bought. So...what to do? Do most Lolita just keep cutting down the price until it's so ridiculously cheap that someone takes it? Keep it and find a way to keep wearing it? Deconstruct the item and use it for something else? Or maybe just donate the darn thing to a thrift store and be done with it?

Like many ladies and gents, I'm not made of money (and I'm trying to be much more careful with my future purchases to avoid repeats of this scenario), but sometimes having something hanging around that you're sick of seeing can be extremely frustrating!
