Just a very minor announcement:
Tagging is open again to all members. Please note that only mods can create new tags, though. If you think there's a tag that the community needs, please PM a mod and we'll consider adding it.
Hopefully this will make it easier for people to find and sort their own posts!
There are many different groupings of tags, all based on the same concepts. This, for now, is the most concise and easy method of tagging such a vast and old community. Following are descriptions of each grouping and explanations of when to use what tag.
Tags have been created in order to make posts easier to find and sort. Please bear this in mind when tagging your post- it's probably not going to make things easier on anyone if you select a ton of sort-of related tags for your post. Instead, you should be choosing 1 or 2 tags that are very pertinent to your post. And you DO NOT have to tag every post. So don't feel pressured if you can't decide!
Important Notices
These tags will likely be used mostly by mods. They all begin with an exclamation mark so they remain at the top of the list. If you are posting to find someone you are mid-transaction with, use the first tag. Otherwise, you probably should not be using these tags.
