Removing Yellowing and Glue from Eyelet Lace on a Screen Print JSK?

I recently found AP's Cherry Print JSK from 2005 for sale on Mbok. The auction mentioned a tiny spot of glue on it, and I figured I could probably find something that would get it out. Unfortunately, it's also got a lot of yellowing on the lace (particularly around the collar), and it's screen printed, so I'm stuck on how to clean it.

I've read that some people use oxiclean for this, but the cherries are screen-printed on, and I found this http://egl.livejournal.com/11875020.html via search that seems to indicate that oxiclean will take glitter off of a screen print (mine has no glitter, so this is somewhat irrelevant), and possible damage the screen print? It's not clear if the glitter was the only casualty or not? The only other info I found was the general "hand wash, don't dry clean".

I know vinegar is considered an alternate method for whitening old lace, and I found somewhere that mentioned it may take off wood glue (which is what the glue appears to be), but I read somewhere where someone suggested using apple cider vinegar + salt to make a screen print T-shirt look vintage, and that sort of worried me that it might mess up print?

So a couple questions:
1. Has anyone used vinegar on a screen printed item, and did it cause any damage?
2. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to clean the glue and/or the yellowing?
