Oo Jia Starry Night Theatre replica review
This is probably the umpteenth review for Oo Jia’s services but I thought it couldn’t hurt to add mine to the pile.
I had originally contacted Oo Jia on March 24th asking her about ordering a Starry Night JSK in Black and how long it’ll take for it to be made as I needed it before May 25th. She replied on the 26th saying how it’ll take 20-30 days to make then 14-20 to ship. It sounded pretty reasonable to me so I went ahead and placed my order. I paid about 104.50 USD in total for the dress.
After a few back and forth messages asking about the dress, first on April 8th, then on April 26th asking politely if it had been mailed out yet. She replied with a tracking number but it ended up being the wrong one =_=; Everything went well in the end as she gave me the correct one after I contacted her about it. I wasn’t too bothered by it as mistakes happen.
Overall timeline:
• Contacted Oo Jia on March 24th about dress
• She replied on the 26th
• Paid later that day when I got the invoice after I sent her my measurements
• Received correct tracking number on the 28th
• Dress was delivered May 4th
As this is my first real replica brand piece / I haven’t seen Starry Night Theatre in person, I can’t really compare to the real thing or other pieces but I am impressed with the quality all the same.
The package!

The dress and accessories were placed within a clear bag of their own.

The dress

Close-up of the detail on the bodice and the decorative lace.

The shirring at the back of the dress. There’s a few loose strands of thread that came with it but nothing to stress over.

Closer detail of the gold lace.

Back of the waist tie

The waist ties are attached with these clear rose buttons. Apologies for the slightly fuzzy picture.

The lace on the waist ties and the hem of the dress feels thick and is very soft to the touch.

Closer pic of the lace

Section of the print

There are a few loose strands here but I don’t want to pull anything so it’ll stay like that

The dress is fully lined and comes with a built-in petticoat.

I was expecting a headbow and maybe the stuff that comes with the jsk originally but the socks were a nice surprise!

Communication: 5/5!
Understandably, Oo Jia is a pretty busy woman so a bit of a wait is expected but it didn’t bother me in the slightest as she always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time.
Packaging: 5/5!
Packaging was good. The items were wrapped in two plastic bags with a broad strip of tape wrapped around it so it wouldn’t be opened easily I can guess. Took me a bit and some careful slicing with my scissors to get it open.
Overall: 5/5!
For my first experience ordering from her, it was great! I’m planning on ordering from her again sometime in the future.
If anyone has any questions please let me know and I'll do my best to answer!
