I recently bought this dress and I'm considering wearing it to my first gathering. I'm really nervous and would really like to look great.

Incase you can't see it clearly, it is a black gingham print with gingham bunnies holding strawberry teacups and strawberry teapots. The black ruffles on the chest are removable and it came with a matching headband.

What do you think of this dress?
How would you style it, what would you wear it with?
What style would you say this dress is? (Country, gothic. etc)
Do you think I need a bigger petticoat underneath this? I don't know how much poof is expected for gatherings.
