Taking care of brand blouses

I was stupid. I didn't change out of my first brand item (a blouse) before a concert. (well, I couldn't get home). The next time I wore it, it was unexpectedly sunny. And it's white.
I'm not seeing how I can go without washing it everytime, but I don't think I'm supposed to. How do you keep up your nice blouses?
