Possible print inspiration, but...

So, I have a few artistic bodies on hand who, like me, grew up by the sea - fishing, swimming, boating, sailing ... You name it, we did it, and we were thinking of making a couple of maritime-inspired lolita dresses. The general "sailor-style", yes, but also ships, sail boats, ocean landscapes, etc. Not exactly starting a business, but just for ourselves and maybe a few close friends. Here's where we hit a little snag though. Two of my friends really want to make a Titanic-themed print, but I was a little hesitant to be all "OMIGOSH OKAY," because I'm sure how that would look to other people. These dresses are going to be more classic-style than anything, but I wanted opinions. Do you guys think people would be offended if a dress had a Titanic print, even if it was done tastefully?

If we were going to do it at all, it would take inspiration from something like this. No icebergs, sinking scenes, etc. What do you think? Concrit would be awesome. =)
