When I first saw the post about Trick being released, I couldn't resist myself as I really love hats! So I immediately looked for the best way for me to get it and ended up reserving it through Baby's SF store. Overall, it was a great transaction and I can't wait to do business with them again. :D Okay, here we go!
Directly inside the priority mail box was this AatP bag!
Inside the bag was this inner bag that was holding the dress in tissue paper. It came with a free sticker.
Inside the wrapping was this fantastic dress! The waist tie is the same material as the dress and the neckties are striped. The shoulder straps are basically made of the same print, but the print is in grey. The lace, as depicted above, is polka dotted! What I really love are the two pearl drops attached to the bottom of the ribbon.
Unfortunately, I don't have any blouses yet, so I won't post a worn picture. I'm ordering one at the moment, same with a petticoat, so I shall edit this post with pictures when those arrive!
In terms of fit, the chest part is really tight for a babydoll. I wear a 36C and they squashed the girls quite a bit. So I probably wouldn't suggest this to those that wear larger than a C cup. :( The waistband's fit is okay for me, as Baby lists it as 38 inches max, but it sits pretty weird on my body. The back is shirred, so width-wise, it is fine. I'm assuming that because the material doesn't stretch, it just squashes my breasts because it has no where else to put them. :(( Other than that, I absolutely love the dress, so for now, I'll try to find a way around it. c: Also, length-wise, this JSK is pretty long. I'm 5'4" and it hits the top of my knee when worn. :D!
Anyways, below is the review for my experience with the San Fancisco Baby, the Stars Shine Bright!
Review:
Communication: When I made my order, they responded and sent me the invoice within 24 hours. Once they received my item, they emailed me the same day and invoiced me for shipping. When I had a worried query about shipping, they also responded within an hour of my email. When there was a problem with shipping, they also emailed me. However, when they shipped out the package, they didn't email me to say that they did or tell me the tracking number. Overall though, I'd give them a 4.5/5!
Shipping: The package came really quickly as I am only about two hours away from SF. It was shipped in a priority mail box with tracking and the JSK was wrapped and double bagged inside the box. The only thing that irks me slightly is that it took them about 4 days to ship out the dress and that the tracking number was not provided. :( 4-4.5/5!
Overall: If given the chance, I would definitely purchase through the SF store again! Shipping can be a bit slow, but it's definitely cheaper than paying for it to be shipped from Japan and worth the wait. c: 4.5/5!

minty_merry has kindly pointed out to me that the care label warns against getting the dress wet and that there may be color transfer via rubbing. :(
