Iiitt's Edelweiss! Complete with a little bonnet of her own, made of recycled materials. She herself was bought for a pittance, and re-worked with some careful sewing into a bag. She doesn't hold much, mainly a cellphone, change, a compact, and cash, but she's cute as a button.

The bonnet itself is made of cotton eyelet lace from an ancient project of mine, white cotton scraps, and a Wheat Thins box. The little pink flower set at the front of her bonnet was taken from a silk flower form the dollar store and painted with red acrylic paint. the pouch is held together with metal snaps.

She stands up entirely on her own, thanks to me stuffing up the legs with lots of polyester.
And here's a worn shot!

The metal hooks that the straps attach to can be folded away into the pocket in Edelweiss' back, meaning that it can be stored as a regular plush doll.
