Starting your own lolita Brand/ Ero Lolita sources

Hello guys!

Once again, I'm posting something with alot of questions and definitely need the feedback to go with it. So let's start with the first thing:

This is specifically for you members that own an etsy shop or your own indie business selling lolita items, whether it's dresses, accessories, etc.

I've studied Fashion Design and currently studying Business so I work on my goal of starting my own lolita brand; ideally going towards "erotic lolita".

I feel I don't have enough knowledge or skill to really start on this yet. I just wanted to know how you guys started out - if willing, to possibly give some pointers as well. Do you guys have a blog or facebook page? Should I open up my own etsy store? Should I make prototypes and sent it to a sewing contractor, or hand-make them? Should I get started on it if I really feel like it or should I wait until I know enough about the business?

As much as I wanna wait and improve myself before starting, I feel that I should really be starting on it at this point in my life.
Any advice will help.

I've posted a bit about this before on the community and gotten some great responses and pictures of reference. Now I need your guys' help on finding reliable sources about the "erotic lolita" style. I've read the entry on HelloLace and any other site that gives the basics about the various lolita styles, but I would love to find some sources that really delve into it. If I go into the erotic style, I wanna do it right!

Also, from previous feedback I've gotten about the topic, I know alot of people don't really like to consider "erotic lolita" as lolita which makes sense based off of the several arguments given. So my question is, if you are one of these people, what would you call it?

I would like to name it in a way where you can work it into an erotic lolita wardrobe without necessarily calling it "lolita". The only thing I really have so far is erotic victorian, etc.

Thank you guys for your contribution!
