Help for a lolita Report?

So Im doing a report about lolita fashion at school.
I'll also be doing an Oral presentation aobut it so I've decided I'd dress up for it. but I was hoping you girls could help me with a few things <3

1. How much fabric on average is used to make a lolita skirt. Yards?
2. if you were going to dress up in lolita for "educational" resons would you wear something OTT sweet or toned down
(I want to show how creative and wild lolita can be but I dont want it to come across as too much in one hit <3)
3. how many of you would consider "Mary Janes" as the standerd lolita shoe?

4. have any of you done a report/assignment on lolita for school before? How did it go?
