Preventing deodorant stains?

Does anyone have any tips on keeping the underarm area of lolita clothing nice (preventing or treating yellow sweat and white deodorant stains)? Is there a particular deodorant that lolitas use? I've hear that some like to wear undershirts even under blouses but that seems very hot and uncomfortable. Any advice?
