Hi, I just bought my first pair of brand socks that have designs on them and I came across a problem. I couldn't find any info in the egl search function so I hope you don't mind me asking this via a post.
Two weeks or so I bought my first pair of brand socks (BTSSB White Jewel Tree Bouquet Socks) from egl_comm_sales. The user said she didn't recommend it for larger calves but I figured I'd be fine since mine is only 13''.

However, I found out that the very cute pink ribbon design that ran all the way around the top of the socks was the problem. When I wear the socks, the pink design portion doesn't stretch as much as the rest of the white sock which created an effect that made the sock look "too tight" on the design portion. While the socks themselves are very comfortable and feel fine, it creates a very embarrassing visual effect on my calves. Especially with the ribbon design being at the very top of the sock.
Are all socks with designs that run all the way around, just naturally like this? Would I have to stretch the sock at that part? Is the sock even save-able? Or am I better off just trying to sell the sock?
For those who are more familiar with socks with designs, is there any advice/tips you can give me?
Thanks so much for reading. :)
