GLW Review: Positive!

Hello everyone :3 I posted the other day about ordering my first wig, and I have to say I'm very glad I did!

I ordered this wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs:

Their quality had gotten really bad for a while last year, but it seems that they're back up to snuff, so I thought I'd do a quick review.

I ordered on Thursday night, around 6PM EST. The order went through alright, but did spend all of friday "Awaiting Fulfillment." Shipped saturday, arrived monday!

Shipping: 5/5 fast fast fast! And free~ The wig was in a plastic bag in a flat-rate bubble envelope, and arrived with no issues.

Packaging: 5/5 no problems here. They even stuffed tissue paper inside to help with the shape!





Quality: 4.8/5 the wig is gorgeous and looks about as natural as possible given the split tone, but the bangs are really uneven and I'm having a hard time seeing on my right side do to the cut. They're a little thin right above my right eye, and then get really long just at the corner with pieces that are too long scattered throughout the front. I'll probably just have to trim to match but I am pretty bad at it >~<

There was also this very strange, thick, plastic like thread that had been curled and was about the same color as the dark brown side. I assume it was a thread used to stitch the cap together, so I just snipped it off carefully near the crown-no harm done!



Overall: 5/5 even with the bangs being a little wacky, I'm really happy with this wig! It's lovely, full, there are no patchy spots, it's long and the curls are very lovely. I don't look nearly as cute as the model, but with some makeup and full coord I feel like I'll still love this look to bits.
