If prints were no more.

Something came to my mind earlier today when I was browsing "Hellolace", looking at all the oldschool pieces..
And then I became curious. Prints are all the rage right now and I think more and more people are joining because of the pretty printed dresses. But how many of you would actually leave if brands stopped making prints? If they went back to what once was the focus of this fashion, the lace, the details, the different kinds of fabrics?
Are prints so important to you, so the essence of what Lolita is to you, that you would lose interest if lolita went back to that era?

EDIT: I just felt like maybe I should make my own opinion on this matter clear :) Some prints are gorgeous. They really are. But just seeing border-print after border-print gets a little repetitive. I think lolita would become more diverse if the brands made pieces with more focus on the design of the dress too. Pintucks, ruffles, bustles, lace.. Pieces with more of this and all the other design choices that there are room for in our fashion!
