I have ordered from DoL a couple of times; once for the wonder cookie OP which was too short but acceptable, and the other for the little bear's cafe jsk which was again too short but the material was good so I was happy with it. For the price, I didn't expect brand quality with vanilla chan but I also didn't expect such poor construction. The skirt part must have been cut wrong because it pokes out strangely on each side. It looks really really wierd. And as usual, it is too short. The bodice even looks a little long, so the proportions are just bizarre-- the shape is nothing like their stock picture. As for the material, it's rather thin :c
I don't know how much you can tell from the picture, but the skirt has extra fabric or something that gives it sort of a Marie Antoinette skirt effect.

When I opened this one, the first thing I noticed was the material. It's...odd. Almost like it's water resistant or something. It has a slick look to it (it's hard to explain). I put it on and I thought at first I would be happy with it but the bust is really tight even with the shirring, and the zipper is impossible to zip up. Oh and guess what. Wierd proportions again. The bodice and skirt are almost of equal length like with the vanilla chan op.
I didn't put a picture with this one because the fabric isn't something you can really see-- it's something that has to be felt. And I'm sure we've all seen a stuck zipper.
In closing, I'm just confused as to why DoL insists on making their skirts so short in proportion to their bodices. The stock pictures are great but in person...not so much. Needless to say, I won't be buying from them again. It's especially bad that I have waited about 3 months for my order and I get an unsatisfactory product. I think now I'm going to save harder for brand >.<
