Holy Night Soldier [My Annual Christmas Card for 2011!]

Just the other evening I posted a few pictures from the making of this year's Christmas card to Daily_Lolita.
I got such a great response and so many comments about my coord's uniqueness that I thought I should share it here as well! My apologies to the kind folks who have already seen this!
         

 Holy Night Story 



 Well, I've been busy making some very special accessories for a little Toy Soldier themed Holy Night Story christmas card,  
 and here they are! For the photos I also did a little face paint to make me look like a toy soldier nutcracker,
with little doll cheeks and a hinge-jaw line.

HIPR sidenote:
I got to flex my Historic Preservation degree muscles here to make that little Shako, and it was so fun!
It's a historically accurate reproduction of an early 1800's Grenadier shako...
The brass tacks, tassel, the stitch up the back and sharp black bill... I could go on forever!
It was really rewarding to be inspired by Angelic Pretty and practice one of my favorite arts.



 This is the photo I ended up using to make a little Christmas card for friends and family!
