Testing seller or product legitimacy
I'm generally a lurker but I've noticed a few posts questioning a seller or a product's authenticity, and I thought I should share one way in addition to asking around to test.
This is a great way to catch scammers! my boss caught one from air bnb using hotel room pics and claiming them as his quaint country home. I hope this at least saves one person a bad experience!
Google has a feature where you can search for similar images on the web. Save a few of the photos of the product or from the seller's page to your computer, then go to google images. You can upload the file from your computer by simply dragging the file and dropping it in the google page, and google will search for similar images (not identical, so if they've done a bit of photoshopping it still might catch it).
