The one millionth Bodyline review! Pic heavy!

Review under cut!

Oooohky I hope I got the cut right lol

So, this was my first time ordering from Bodyline. Ordering was pretty easy, not harder than most online shopping sites.

Shipping!
I ordered AIR shipping since it was during their 1$ AIR campaign and was the cheapest. It took them about a week to finally ship out after I had ordered, and it left on the 29th and arrived today on the 5th! No horror stories, really. Fast and nice.

The packaging was a little different though. It came in a plastic bag that was ripped at certain points. The dress was in a little pretty plastic baggy and was well protected, but the boots were just on the outside. They did have foam and newspaper inside of them keeping them sturdy though. I did have to sign for the package at the door.

JSK!
I ordered the L443 JSK, and it's exactly what the stock photo advertised. I bought it in M and it fit very nicely. There is shirring on the back as well as a zipper that goes down on the side of the dress.

I'm not sure what the purpose of both is since I only needed to loosen the shirring to put it on, but maybe it's for preference. The straps are also attached with buttons, and you can make it longer or shorter by unbotting the buttons and then rebuttoning them, sorta like a belt.

On the back, there is a sort of a ribbon tie thing that doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than aesthetic ones, but the ribbon is held on by some poorly sewn on buttons, and the button came off as soon as I tried to tie it. I was a bit disappointed with it, but it was super easy to resew on and anyone with minimal hand sewing experience should be able to.

The pattern on the dress is really pretty and the details are lovely. I think it could be worn without a blouse as well if the weather is too hot, and it could probably pass as a "normal" dress at formal occassions without a petti.

BOOTS!
I ordered the SHOES224 boots in pinkxpink, and they're about the quality I expected. I ordered them in 23.5 and they're roomy with thin socks and they fit tight (but it's a nice tight, not an uncomfortable one) with thickish socks. My normal shoe size is 23 cm, so I figured I'd buy a half size larger to be safe. The laces appear to be purely ornamental, it looks like you could undo them if you wanted but there's a nice zipper on the inside of the boots that goes all the way down to the very heel when unzipped, so getting them on is pretty easy as far as tall boots go. The bows seem securely attached and they're comfortable to walk around in, I really like the shape and size of the heel.

There were a few scuffs, nothing unusual from Bodyline so I've heard and they're hardly noticeable, but it does take away somewhat of my opinion of their shoes. The material is OK, it seems like it wrinkles easily if bent the wrong way and they also seem to squeak a bit obnoxiously when you walk (at least the right one does, I don't think the left one does) but I'm hoping that goes away after I break them in.

OVERALL SATISFACTION: VICTORIOUS!
I'm really happy with my purchase despite the flaws and I probably would buy from Bodyline again.
