Angelic Pretty SF Anniversary Photos
I didn't have a chance to make it out to the AP tea party on the 20th that they had for their anniversary but I was there for special sale day on the 19th. http://www.angelicpretty-usa.com/blog/?p=356 Maki & Asuka were super cute and dashing out before the store opened to peak at the crowd and snap pictures of everyone waiting. RinRin was an absolute doll, posing for pictures, translating for those of us that don't speak Japanese. It was freezing and most of the girls in line only got a couple hours of sleep but it was a lot of fun.
Who else went? Did you have a good time? Also, if you got an online AP luckypack, haven't got it in the mail yet and want it to ge a surprise: beware that there is a luckypack spoiler towards the bottom (although who knows, the online ones may be different from the in store ones)

The line started to get longer as it got closer to opening time.

Showing off the work of the nail artist that sets up shop inside of AP on weekends.

Waiting for the shop to open.

Maki kept dashing out of the shop to snap shots of the crowd.

Am I the only one that thought this was super creepy? It reminds me of that recent episode of Dr Who when the characters were being turned into dolls.

Another small group shot.

Sugary Carnival twins.

Another cutie in Cherry Berry Bunny.

So Cal girls that had to rush over straight from the airport, now that's some commitment.

Polkadot twins.

This is what happens when there's only 5 luckypacks available, jk! We were just being silly while waiting in line.

I'm way envious of all you guys with adorable cozy lolita coats!

RinRin trying to organize everyone into a group shot in front of the store.

There was so many girls there I couldn't fit everyone into one picture.

RinRin squeezes in for a shot.

Me, RinRin and one of my line buddies.

They both looked gorgeous in pastels together.

My bummy super casual outfit since I knew it was going to be a cold morning of sitting around on the ground. Much respect to those that still got all dolled up at 4am!

The girls that got there super early were smart and started a list of who was in what spot in line and what people were planning to buy. That way people could go grab breakfast, wander around and chitchat with each other and not worry about losing their spot if they didn't just stay in line all morning.

Before the shop opened up they had the gate half up, so people kept peaking in to see what new stock they had and how many luckypacks were put out.

30 seconds later all the balloons became a tangled mess and the sign kept follow over throughout the day.

Maki & RinRin came out as they were making opening announcements.

They were nice enough to let us take group shots with RinRin and the designers. It was a little crowded/chaotic but it worked out well in the end. :)

They were only letting in small groups of girls at a time since the shop is so small. These were the poor girls still waiting to get in last.

Showing off all the goodies that she bought.

Lucky pack loot. Isn't that bolero lovely? Each luckypack had a bolero, the tripple tart JSK with matching headbow and socks. All in all a pretty good deal for only $150, especially since even on sale that dress is still $278 on their website right now.

The last of the line excitedly waiting to go in.

It may seem like a lot already but these are less than half of the pictures from that day. The rest are all here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/51846205@N00/sets/72157628143846377/
