So I figured we can make one huge post for the memories of what there is to do in your area of the world that would relate to lolita.

Shops near you that have lolita finds: I'd think you could find Chinese imported accessories in Bruma near Eastgate (+ - 45 minute drive), the Sanrio Shops in Eastgate Mall (+ - 45 minute drive), Bedford Centre(+ - 40 minute drive), Green Stone Mall(+ - 35 minute drive), and Menlyn Park (+ - 90 minute drive). There are various flea markets and the malls have relatively inexpensive lolitaesque clothing.
Tea shops, cafes, and restaurants: Rietvlei Zoo farm (Alberton), The Klip House (Henley-On-Klip), Ducks Country Lodge (H-O-K), a lot of tea houses in Parys(Free State).
Fun things to do in the area: There are a number of Casinos, Theme Park, alternative clubs, anime stockists, mall shopping, antiques, and Henley-On-Klip is picturesque and great for lolita photos because of its quaintness.

Fun things to do in the area: Skansen, kind of an old fashioned zoo with their christmas market, ice skating in the center of town at Kungsträdgården, see the changing of the guards in the old town by the royal castle.

*The various vintage stores around Commercial Drive and the rest of the Downtown area occasionally yield loliable items such as frilly blouses
*Cambie/Cordova/West Hastings/Gastown area has several stores that could be very usefull to the adventurous lolita. There are 2 antique stores on Cordova that are great for lolita presents and accessories, with a Goth store and a vintage store right across the street.
*Metrotown/Crystal Mall area: I say Metrotown because the area near T&T has some cute asian clothing store (somewhat expensive) that can be useful for accessories or accent pieces. Crystal Mall is an asian mall, and if your clothing is on the small size, it's a potential Goldmine. There is even a 109 Shibuya store! Vivienne Westwood accessories are everywhere in this mall.
Tea shops, cafes, and restaurants: Mink on...West Hastings, I think? That or Cordova. It's a chocolate cafe. There are also numerous bubble tea stores throughout Greater Vancouver, so if you've never had it, I recommend trying it!
Fun things to do in the area:
*I whole-heartedly recommend going to Granville street! It's my favourite part of the city and has several cool stores.

*The Commodore Ballroom (good gigs, saw Miyavi there last time),
*Millenium (punk/goth/steampunk/alternative store, sell Coffin Bags)
*Golden Age Comics (if you're a geek, wicked place to go)
*"Charlie's" media store (actually, I believe they've moved, but the sign will tell you where to go).
*There's also a Beard Papa's nearby (CREAM PUFF HEAVEN!) and an international candy store called "Candy Aisle", I believe.

Fun things to do in the area: Having a picnic by the creek, walking down Pearl Street, etc. All of the fun things here have to do with mountain biking and hiking and rafting, and those don't seem really acceptable to do in your frills!
