Bodyline Review- POSITIVE (pic heavy)
Hello~!I know there's heaps of Bodyline reviews already, but I decided to post one anyways since I enjoy reading them myself. :3
In this post, I'm reviewing a JSK (L249) and shoes (SHOES245).
As a reference, here are my measurements:
HEIGHT- 5"6 (167cm)
BUST - 33in (84cm)
WAIST - 25.5in (65cm)
HIP - 35.4in (90cm)
I used the Japanese site and had the order sent to my gran (who then re-packaged everything, added a few boxes of chocolate, then sent the parcel to my place), so I can't really comment on the packaging/tracking. Sorry. :/
Anyway, my items were packaged like this:
It's probably because the Japanese service was used, but my shoes actually came in a box! C:
The shoes were wrapped in white crepe paper, and had this metal rod thingy in it to keep its shape.
This is SHOE245, in non-enamel black. I normally wear a Japanese 23.5 / US37 / Australian 7, but I bought a Size 23 because I read some reviews that said they were a tad big. Turns out I made a smart decision- the shoes fit me perfectly, with a bit of toe-wriggling space on the tip. The platforms are steady too, so I don't think I'll be tripping over in these....much. XD
Overall Rating: 5/5 - versatile, comfy, and just plain AWESOME!
Now, for the JSK-
It's L249 in black, and I LOVE IT! <3
In my area it gets really toasty during Summer, so I wanted a JSK that would look decent worn on its own. It turned out to be one of the best things I ever bought online! xD The photo isn't doing the print justice, but it's basically exactly what you see on the stock photo.

There's an adorable rose pattern on the back ribbon thingy. And the lace on its tip is actually quite nice!
A detachable bow was included, too. I'm not too keen on the dotty bit in the middle, but the bow itself seems to be well-constructed.
The back panel and shoulder straps are fully shirred, so it would be pretty forgiving in terms of size!
AAAAAND this is me, wearing it. (Please ignore the toothbrushes and stuff...orz)
The shoulder straps are a tad loose, but it's so comfy and cute! <3
You can't see it in the photo, but the JSK comes about 3cm above my knees. The fabric isn't too heavy, so it poofs up nicely even if there's one petti (like in the photo!)
Overall rating - 6/5! If you were thinking about buying this, you totally should! ^-^
That's it for now- thanks so much for reading! I really hope I helped in some way. :3
