Japanese connections/associations to Lolita, Asian interpretation
As an Asian myself, I face blatant disapproval and hate within my immediate family about my Lolita style, though I hardly wear it, only at semi-formal occasions when I don't want to wear the high cut sheath, shoulder-less/one-shouldered dresses that are "trendy" right now.
Has anyone come upon the interpretation that just cause some Lolita outfits use lace quite incorporated into their design that it's an aspiration to be an AV model? (AV models are porn stars in most Asian countries i.e. Taiwan, Japan....)

I'm so ________ pissed about even a possibility when I cover myself from head to toe when I wear my Gothic Lolita/Kuro Lolita except when it is weather permitting, short sleeved dresses/JSK and neck and face that it can still be a possibility of porn star wannabe.
A bit of advice of how to counter this please! I feel very strongly about this because it gets thrown and ranted about in my face every time any bit of my Lolita style comes to daylight or sight.
