Innocent World Antique Book Bag Review

After seeing amethystcitrine's Innocent World Antique Book Bag at AWA I decided to get one as well, but the bag was no longer listed on the IW website, nor did much search on mbok or y!j turn out any results. So I decided to throw a hail mary email over to IW. Two weeks later, I receive an email from IW that they found the Bordeaux version of it at one of their store and prepared the stock for me! I paid their invoice through paypal, which was super convenient and the bag was shipped out no later than two days. Here are the pictures:

cute little letter thanking me for the purchase with a copy of the receipt. Though the context of the letter was short and conventional, I still thought it was really sweet :)


the bag itself. Unlike meta though, the bags do not have its own box and was just covered in the plastic package. buuut this isn't a deal breaker ;D


the details on the bag!! I love the little heart zippers and whatnot. Of course the bag is pleather, but it's still beautifully crafted and I love it!

OVERALL:

I think I was INCREDIBLY lucky to be able to get this. When I emailed them again for a 2nd bag for a friend, they told me that they did not have anymore of them in stock so pleease DO NOT EMAIL THEM ABOUT IT . I would hate for them to get spammed with bunch of requests that they cannot fill. The only reason why I put up this review is to show the quality of the bag and the awesomeness that is IW customer service. Not only can they communicate via clear English, they were also willing to look for an item that has been off their website for more than three months! Considering how difficult it is to get a disinterested sales associate at your local mall to check the stockroom for items, I thought IW was incredible in contacting their stores to find this one bag for me.

SHIPPING: 5/5 no flaws here :). Though I would've loved to have gotten a separate box for the bag, the EMS box was still sturdy enough to hold and protect the item.

Quality: 5/5 the details on this bag is amazing! and big enough to actually carry around my stuff in there <3.

Customer service: 5/5 I still think it's amazing that they were willing to locate this ONE bag for me even though I have never shopped at IW before!

again, this was a GREAT experience and I would love to do more business with them!
