hope you're all doing well. : ) After summoning up the courage, I have decided to do a small post, asking all of you for your opinions. I'm a very beginner Lolita (I started just last month! ^^;;) and I've done a little bit of research before purchasing any dresses.

My very first dress that I bought was from the EGL Sales post and although pricey, I was super happy to receive it (Angelic Pretty Jewelry Jelly in Mint! It was love at first sight! :D) Fortunately there were 2 mini conventions here in Vancouver recently, so I got to wear Lolita for the very first time. Below are the 2 outfits I wore, with make up photos as well. It would be great if some of you could provide me with some con-crit, so that I can improve, as I rarely ever wear make up and was struggling a bit with what to do.... ^_^ (I know I have a really stiff smile & pose too.. I'm working on it.. >_<) Also, I'm a little unsure if I look good in Sweet Lolita, since a lot of my friends say that I have a rather "mature" look. What are your opinions? Should I stick with Sweet or should I change to Classic? (as I quite like Classic dresses as well and have been contemplating over whether I should do the switch over while I didn't get too far into Sweet just yet (I currently have four sweet pieces). I quite like Mary Magdalene and Innocent World) Thanks a lot! :D
First Outfit: Angelic Pretty Jewelry Jelly OP in Mint

I tried putting some blue eye shadow on (it's quite light in the picture) and faint lip gloss with very natural falsies.

The coordinate I made for that day. I know I don't have a lot of accessories but I thought that for my first attempt, I shouldn't go all out since I was quite timid wearing Lolita for the very first time.. >_< (I also don't have that many accessories lol)
Second Outfit: Milky Chan JSK replica

longer falsies this time because I was feeling a little more comfortable in Lolita (but only a little.. ^^;;)

An awesome picture my friend took of me. (photo is awesome, not me.. haha... my stiff smile.. ~___~;;)
Thanks to everyone in advance for your comments! ^_^
