After the thousandth post on egl_sales that doesn't offer shipping to Italy I need to open a post here. I want to understand..what's the problem?
I think it's time for me to realize what's happened these last months since a lot of people are scared to ship here. There are not so many lolitas in Italy, I should know if we had these great postal discomfort in past but I've never heard anything about it.
Maybe some of you might know me because we had transactions, I'm in this community for 3 years. I've bought and sold a lot of items in egl_sales, from worldwide, and I've never lost a SINGLE thing. Sometimes it takes a while from outside Europe, but it's ok, I have just need to wait. And I know, like everyone knows, that if I choose untracked shipping it's not the seller's fault if my package get lost.
Now I want to know your bad experience. I want to know if there are so many bad experiences as the number of users who don't want to ship in Italy.
What I can say about the italian post service is that they offer an average service. Sometimes they are quite slow but nothing too exaggerated. In my experience I've never had problems and this makes me think that some problems may depend on the different cities.
About italian custom, no personal problems, but sometimes they take a very long time to clear a package and sometimes it happens that parcels of little value are taxed. But I think this is our problem, not the seller.
I would really appreciate to hear your bad experience :) I want to clarify that I don't want to argue with you.
