Important changes to eglfeedback

Important updates to eglfeedback.

After receiving some suggestions for eglfeedback , we took them on board and have created new feedback forms. There are now separate forms based on transaction type, as well as other adjustments. Please gives us your feedback on the new forms before they go live. One thing I know people took issue with was the wording of 'Accuracy of estimated shipping time' misinterpreting it as delivery time rather than if the seller shipped the item on time. I couldn't settle on a better way to word this, so if you have any input, do share.

Clearing up about providing the URL & Sort by poster.


Most of you have been doing great with providing the URL in your feedback, but a small group of people still voice discontent at having to do this. I would like to state once again why we decided to make this mandatory. Our feedback system is abused too much. Numerous people have left fake feedback, and way too many people leave feedback for transactions which did not take place on egl_comm_sales . I know it's a shame to have a few bad eggs spoil it for the bunch, but the good news is LJ recently implemented a sort by poster function. This can be found on the home page of every community by clicking filter. Now it's super easy to find old sales posts!

Anyway, onwards to the new forms! Credit goes to kyrosis  for doing this :)

Guide to Filling Out the Forms

Marks Out of 5
0/1 being the lowest score, felt you were dissatisfied in this area
5 being the highest, they fulfilled expectations or beyond

Subject Box
Remember to put what type of feedback you are leaving. It maybe obvious it is positive but sometimes people leave good feedback with a slight unhappy comment in the 'Additional Comments' section, It could still in actual fact be a neutral. Same goes for unhappy feedback, they could either be neutral or negative.

URL
Provide the original link to the transaction. If you used them as a Shopping Service or through PM from their original post, give us that post where you found them/the item

Additional Comments

Did they not communicate much but still give a satisfactory service? Were they a bit slow in sending the item out though they kept in good communication? These comments not only help the mods but other potential users to figure if they would like to deal with this person again or understand that this person does certain actions through their sales etc. Additional comments are a very helpful area and even just a short sentence could make a difference to how people look at the feedback

Give feedback for anything OUTSIDE of egl_comm_sales, please give feedback to their respective journal entries/community feedback areas if not bought within EGLCS

Give retaliatory feedback
E.g. you sent an item to a buyer, they paid on time, kept in good communication, told you they had received the item and was leaving feedback (obviously in good trade manner) THEN they left neutral/negative feedback where they found the item to be not as described, this is NOT a time for you to give retaliatory feedback. They did as necessary as a buyer and they deserve the good feedback as they handled the whole transaction well. If you feel the feedback was unnecessary, you can appeal to the mods, who will then review the transaction and come to a conclusion about the whole transaction/feedback.
