Looking for something fancy to do outside the convention this year? Dress in your best and come to the tea party at the Explorers Lounge! This party is hosted by American lolita brands Morrigan NYC, I Do Declare, and Perianth, as well as blogs Tea, Love, Crochet, and Moss Garden, so there will be small gift bags for everyone attending, in addition to a raffle prize. ♥ As far as the tea itself goes, the Traditional Tea consists of scones, petit fours, finger sandwiches, and a pot of delicious tea (choose from Vintage Darjeeling-Black, Chamomile, Earl Grey, and Wedding tea). See the Explorers Lounge website, the Brightons website, and the afternoon tea menu for more information. Vegetarians can be easily accommodated if they let me know when reserving their seats.

Dress code: This is a formal event, so no casual outfits please!
Cost: $30 per seat (cost includes tea, tax, and tip)
Please take note that the time and location of the tea party have been changed to avoid possible schedule conflicts. The event is now happening 10 am - 12 pm inside the Explorers Lounge, which is next door to Brightons inside the same hotel. Everything will still be catered by Brightons, so the menu is still the same. The best part of this change in plans is that we'll have the Explorers Lounge all to ourselves since it's a private area!
Up until July 22nd, if you find you can't make it to the tea party and want to cancel your reservation, let me know and you will be refunded with no problem. After July 22nd, our reservation is locked in with the Explorers Lounge so no refunds can be given. If you find you can't come to the tea party after this cutoff date, feel free to find someone else to take your place.
