EGL Contest Reminder -- One Month Left!

 

Contest Theme:
Show us your moves, and may the best dancer take the cake! Over the months of June and July, we want you to submit to us videos of you dancing in lolita. The video must be no less than 30 seconds, and no more than 3 minutes. Whether you're a novice dancing by yourself or you have a whole group with you, join in and have some fun!

Judging:
The video will be mainly be judged based on choreography, timing and creativity. Of course, you must be wearing lolita or some accepted sub-style, and your outfit will be an important aspect. Dance covers are accepted, but do bear in mind this may lose you points in the creativity department. Finally, how clear and well shot your video is will also come in to play, but don't sweat it if you don't have high tech equipment, just try your best!

Eligibility:
All members, both veterans and newbies alike, are welcome to enter both contests. Only the first submission for each contest will be accepted, additional entries beyond the first will not be considered. Judges are allowed enter but are not eligible to win contests. Videos must be submitted to youtube and must be a new video created after June 1st.

Prizes:
Prize is yet to be determined, but do bear in mind there will be only one prize for the winner, regardless of the number of participants.

Contest Deadline & how to submit:
All entries must be received by July 31st, 2011. The post for submitting entries is located here; all comments will be screened. Please leave a comment with the following:
- A link to your video
- Any additional comments you'd like to make
- LJ names of all participants (if there's not just you)
