Help and Inspiration, Please!

 Straw hat into a bonnet. Has any one tried this??


Hello lovely people! 

I need some help and inspiration with making a bonnet from a straw hat. I found this tutorial (see below) in the memories but was wondering if anyone has tried it. Also do you have any photos of hand made bonnets? I want to try and make a  black, white and red bonnet to match my new OP. Any information would be helpful!
