I ordered it on on Friday, it arrived Monday. They apparently shipped it the next day.
The packaging was satisfactory. An appropriately sized, non-busted up flat rate priority envelope. No qualms with that.
Took the wig out and it looked amazing.
This is the quality that I've come to expect from GLW, and I'm very happy with it. The fibers are even, soft and smooth. It's a little shorter and less full than the blended one that I had before. I remember thinking it was too much hair anyway. This is the perfect length and consistency.
I ordered this wig on friday
It came in today (tuesday)
Here is what it looks like
This wig feels so real. It's incredibly soft and manageable. Alas, I will have to sell it because the color looks awful on me. The lighter color probably would have been better for my skin tone. But this is the nicest wig I've owned. I'll definitely be back for more.
If I had to compare the two, I'd say that the GLW is not as real feeling or as soft, but it seems to need that texture for the look it's supposed to achieve, which I take to be kinda like doll hair. Very smooth, soft and holds it's shape firmly. For some reason all of their wigs make me think of candy. Its definitely the more fun wig! For every day use or for a more casual look, I would suggest the mintymix wig. The feel is unbelievably natural and the price is right.
I hope this helped some of the people who were hesitant to buy from GLW because of the reviews. Of course, this is just one wig, and can't represent all of them, but it is an example. I'll be shopping with them until they let me down, which hasn't happened yet.
