Lily of the Valley Designs Review: Acorn Parure

I recently commissioned an "Acorn Parure" from Lily of the Valley Designs (http://lotvdesigns.com/) aka sakurafairy

I bought a necklace, earrings and bracelet set. (They are also available for purchase separately).

To order, you fill out the order form on the LOTV Designs website and will receive a follow-up email a day or two later. You pay half the amount when ordering and the other half when your commission is complete.

TIMELINE:
- On May 2 I received an email from Tyler asking what measurements I would like, as well as the first invoice.
- On May 7 Tyler showed me a photo of my completed set for approval and sent the second invoice.
- On May 14 I received all my jewelry in the mail.

PACKAGING:
The jewelry was in a plastic bag, which was then wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a bubble mailer. Everything was wrapped securely. Tyler also included a cute note with her original illustration and instructions on how to care for the jewelry.

QUALITY:
The jewelry is very cute and well-made. The acorns are real. It is a lot lighter than I expected, which makes it comfortable to wear. (I thought the acorns would be heavy).

The necklace:

The larger pearls are a slightly different shade than the smaller ones, but I was expecting that. (It is the same way in the photo on her website).

The bracelet:

Tyler shortened the length for me as requested.

The earrings:

They are very charming and I can see myself wearing these with lots of outfits!

OVERALL:
I highly recommend LOTV Designs. This is my second purchase from them and I am very pleased. Communication is polite and prompt, shipping is timely and items are well-made!
