I've been debating on posting this topic, for fear of a huge religious fight or a 'hate debate'. This is NOT what I want, I'm just wondering how some of you mix your religion and Lolita. Do some people in your church look down upon Lolita? Or do you even wear Lolita to church? If you do, how far (such as OTT Sweet or Classic)?
For my church, it is kinda frowned upon if girls wear skirt that show the knees. Though I've seen some girls come in with skirts that are shorter than my bloomers. O_o Another issue is modesty. Though I know there is some debate about if Lolita is modest or not. I feel that is it, but that is my own opinion. Others don't feel the same, saying that it draws attention to the body, which I can agree on that too. I guess I can say that I kinda 'get away' with Lolita in church is by having skirts/OPs/JSKs that reach just below the knee, a light petticoat, and not so much frill and lace.
Please do not turn this into a 'hate debate'! This post is not for making fun or putting down anyone's religion. If anyone starts a fight or starts to bash on anyone then I will report them to a mod.
