Looks like we have a 50% split regarding those who like it or don't like it. For the most part, those who like it think it's cute, even if it's not strictly lolita; that it can also be worn to a fetish club / rock concert; that it's a throwback to old school lolita.
Those who don't like it, think it would be better if it weren't shiny pleather (brocade, suede, or pleather that isn't PVC were options thrown out); that it looks like something one can find at hot topic / lip service / etc.; that it looks too dominatrix / fetishy.
Some discussion regarding whether this is lolita or not- whether brands dictate the lolita fashion or whether those who actually wear the lolita aesthetic dictate the fashion. (good discussion!)
