I read the loli secret about how its really annoying when people talk about launching a lolita clothing line, and then never follow through, and I totally agree. But this is not one of those situations. I would really like to know what you like in lolita clothing structurally (such as shirred backs), and what you dislike (such as weak invisible zippers that get caught in your lining and lace).
I really hope I am not being repetitive of something from past posts, I tried my best but could only find tidbits of feedback. I am not looking for feedback of my own designs (yet), but I simply want to know what you love in your frills, and what makes you so angry that you want to punch a kitten. I want my clothing to be made for the people who wear it. Remember though, I am talking structure, not design.
A little bit about the clothing I'll be making:
I have been a long-time fan and wearer of both lolita and steampunk fashion, and I would like to create a brand devoted exclusively to steam loli. The clothing will have a distinctly lolita silhouette, with steampunk colors, prints, notions, and concepts. The official premiere of my line will coincide with the Wild Wild West con, a steampunk convention in Arizona that takes place in early March.
Thank you for your help!
