what if lolita became mainstream in your country?

how would you feel if the lovely ladies and charming fellas of your area starting donning lolita or similar styles? your small town is one thing, but what if it was the new trend in your country? living in NY, USA for me that means a LOT of people. maybe some actors and musicians started to more frequently as well?

it could be a pretty sweet (no pun intended) world! shipping wouldn't be one of the only ways to acquire burando anymore, and shops would open up closer to you. also perhaps there'd be less of the "FAQ of Lolita" being thrown at you every minute you walk outside.

however if lolita did become a big trend, i think a lot of people already in the fashion might loose their sense of individuality/uniqueness where they live. a couple loli friends is great but maybe you're not one for tons of lolitas roaming the streets (wait that sounds epic). infact i've read some stories about lolitas seeing a girl at their school who's a bit "'up on the social ladder" start wearing the clothes and acting like they know so much more, that they've "discovered it", and so on and so forth.

TL;DR: world of lolis more on the good side or bad side?
