Colors of Lolita

So sometime last month, at the J-Pop Summit Festival in San Francisco's Japantown, BTSSB had this huge line for everyone to purchase their Lucky Packs. I got the accessory pack with very nice black pieces: gloves, a muffler, a sax tote, black knee-highs, black sidebow headdress, and velvet bloomers (yes!); unfortunately, it also came with these bow hairties. As beautiful and frequently I would like to use them, there is a problem...they're a SATURATED ORANGE!

... o__o

My mind went blank at the sight. I was shocked that BTSSB even came out with a color like this. They are very adorable and would like to use them, but in all of my years and random internet searches, I have never seen an orange Lolita ensemble, let alone as saturated as this. I don't even believe I have seen any Halloween Lolita outfits using this color. I know for a Halloween ensemble, one could wear a black JSK with orange/black knee-highs, but I honestly don't feel that fully lets out the "spirit" of Halloween and that the color choices would not coordinate unless there was a subtle orange detail on the JSK. I also would like to wear these normally other than reserve them for Halloween.

So my question for you, fellow egl_comm members...

What is your opinion of this color in Lolita fashion? Will it fit? Is it tacky? What do you think of saturated orange in general?
Have you seen existing outfits using this color? Have you attempted one yourself?

All opinions are appreciated!
