I bought myself some Bodyline and Demonia shoes recently and since I've read tons of reviews before buying them, I decided to write a review as well. ^-^ The Bodyline shoes I ordered on Tuesday arrived on Monday. The Demonia shoes were ordered Wednesday and came about a week after ordering. I bought my Demonia shoes from a site called Shoebuy.com which offers free shipping for all their products.
#1 Bodyline Shoes178 - $37
The size I got was 23.5. I'm glad I didn't go along with their US shoe size approximations and went a size smaller >_<, it would have been too big if I did. They came in good condition (but not in boxes), there were no scuff marks or scratches. They're super comfy, something I would be able to wear to work which requires me to stand for nearly 8 hours straight. *-*
#2 Bodyline Shoes110 - $31
My camera stinks and there's very little light in my room so the shoes look a couple shades darker, but they were pretty much the color I expected, which is usually not the case with internet purchases so I was pleased. They came in good condition which was a plus. The only downside is that these are actually buckles and not buttons masquerading as buckles. >_<;; The ankle strap is not a buckle, but you keep it secure with a hook. The hook doesn't seem very secure and I'm not too happy about the way it looks incomplete with that bit of strap hanging out unsecured.
#3 Bodyline Shoes106 - $31
I like these better than the first pair of shoes, if only because they make me taller. xD I got them, again, in size 23.5 and they're very comfortable. I also love that these aren't real buckles. :D
#4 Demonia Goblin 07 - $44
These shoes were absolutely adorable, I almost squealed when I got them. They came in a box (all the Demonia shoes came in their own shoe boxes) so they were nice and secure during their trip. They're size 7s and they fit perfectly, although I was worried they might be too small as most reviews said the sizes ran a bit small. My problem with these shoes are that they lack padding, unlike the Bodyline shoes.
Ack, my blankets are in the picture. D: Embarrasing. >_>
#5 Demonia Charade 23 - $53
Another pair of adorable shoes I got from Demonia. These are in size 7 and they are true-to-size. They came in relatively good condition, but the doily looking things on the front of the shoe curls up around the edges. D: I'm not sure what to do about that currently. Do I iron them flat? @_@
You can see the curling around the edges if you look closely. ._.
#6 Demonia Dolly 68 - $46
I bought these shoes in size 7, but they're a bit narrow in the front. The length is correct, it's just that my toes have less room than they're accustomed to since I've been spoiled by wide toe boxes. They're so adorable though, so I'm hoping they'll be a bit more comfortable after I break them in, since they're more like high heels than any of the other shoes.
I bought these white thigh high socks from Bodyline and I'm very disappointed. Why? Because they've sent me two left socks, that's why. This is pure negligence. T_T I hope Bodyline is not making fun of my lack of dancing ability. >_>
Has this happened to any else? I don't think I'm going to buy socks from them ever again. >_>
I bought this hairband from Claire's, it's always nice to find loliable things.
Yoshi, modeling the hairband.
Nothing was damaged, and it arrived quickly without delay but it would have been nice if they were in boxes.
You get what you pay for. usually.
Free shipping, shoes that came with their own boxes, and it arrived quickly.
Pretty good overall.
There was no need to contact them everything was handled smoothly, they also have a 1-800 number if there are any questions which is good.
Overall I am pleased with my purchases and I would buy shoes from both places again, but not socks from Bodyline. >_>
