I'm not a procrastinator - it's not even the 30th yet!

Yay for timelines! I may not have commented on all of them but it was fun to look at them all!

I'd known about lolita for a while beforehand (about 4 years) but I didn't start wearing it until 2006. I'm kind of shy and one of the things I dislike about the fashion is the attention. So I just started out wearing my stuff to animecons and private parties.

The first picture is of my first lolita attempt *sniff* It's not completely awful, but the dress isn't lolita at all - it's a 60s minidress actually - and I have since come to despise plushies as an accessory... And don't worry about being too old to start lolita - I'm 24 in that first pic! I got my first brand dress from Meta soon after and also a Meta maid dress after that. I didn't buy much during those first 2 years.

At the end of 2007 to beginning of 2008 I went to Japan on vacation and picked up some goodies. Also that year I got over my fear of online shopping (although I still dislike it). In 2008 I got to know the London area lolitas and we had lots of fun scaring people with our frilly numbers XD I also made an awesome friend, Bri, and we did lots of photoshoots together <3 And I got into the English GLB =D

I got home to America from the UK and was in massive debt with no job XP So I tried to use the things I already had in new ways and do some offbrand ero-schoolgirl-retro-??? loli.

In 2009 my style fluctuated a lot! I always thought of myself as the classic type but sweet was really popular so I tried it out too. I still love my original Meta dress though and used it for a swamp-lita photoshoot XD

Tried out hime lolita too and felt like it wasn't for me. I tried incorporating weirder colors and patterns into my coordinates.

In August 2009 I moved to Japan, and in October I started working for Innocent World so WHABAM my style changed completely. It's pretty hard to get classic stuff in America and the small sizes don't always fit, but now I can go to the store and try them on whenever I want so I finally feel like I'm united with my true lolita identity =D Go classic!

Now I don't know where exactly I'm going with my style but probably more classic with mori-girl and grimoire influences and also more ETC and easy to wear styles. And of course more IW XD Thank you for looking!
