A short Loli timeline. 2008 - 2010

I haven't been into Loli for a very long time. But the short time I have been into it, has been amazing. I love everything about it. The way I look, the way I feel in it and how people respond to me. I look forward to future years in Loli.

Aug 2008 is when it all started.

My first meet up. We went to the National Gallery to see 'Black in Fashion'. So the theme was to wear black. Seeing as I owned no Lolita. I found a blouse in my wardrobe, a pair of boots and quickly made up a skirt. My partner joined me.(dressed in theme too). This day was my first glimpses of Lolitas in person. There was so many of them and they were all amazingly dressed.

After seeing the girls in Jsks I decided to try making one of my own. I wasn't completely happy about this outfit. But it definitely got the look I wanted. I also purchased a set of Loli style boots of ebay.

Next chance I got to dress up was a Lolita picnic. I made myself another skirt with a sweet Loli theme to it(cupcakes all over it.) Though I liked my outfit, I decided I didn't look good in Loli skirts and decided to stick to ops and JSKs.

In 2009, I didn't really wear much Loli. But in September 2009. I went to Japan. I took a truck load of stuff, including all my handmade Loli dresses. The first week I was afraid to wear any of them. The Lolitas I had meet in Japan were amazing., and I felt I could never compare. I finally got the courage to go out in the dress I had made just before I left. I also coordinated it with a 'Baby' blouse I bought from Closet Child. This is the point were I felt I had found my Loli identity.

After that, I bought a lot of Loli brand while I was in Japan. Including my first brand dress.

Once I got back from Japan. I was hooked on Loli and Loli brand. Proceed my brand buying and the days of being poor. But it's all worth it. I wear Loli every chance I get which is pretty much every day.

In Feb 2010. I hosted my first meet up. I think it went really well. And I'm so happy to be a part of a great community in Melbourne.

So what am I doing now? Well I have been working on opening my own Loli store. Opening September 2010. I'm also spending way to much time dressing my friends(who aren't loli) in my dresses.
