Another cupcake-related photo/story post for fun. :)
Hello there frilly-friends! ^_^
One day I randomly decided to make my own cupcake-making lolita photo post, simply because other posts like this on EGL are just so inspiring! :) I have tacked on a silly story/captions for the heck of it. Hope you enjoy!
Cinnamoroll and Peachie got psyched up to make some delicious magical princess cupcakes.
"But Peachie," said Cinnamoroll -who somehow managed to talk despite being an inanimate plushie- "You don't know how to toast bread properly, let alone bake some cupcakes!"
"Ah, my dear Cinnamoroll- do not fret! I have bought us a Disney Princess Instant Easy-Bake Cupcake Kit!"
Cinnamoroll nodded and smiled politely, but he was getting nervous already.
Cinnamoroll called forth some sparkly sweet-lolita magic and all the nearby cute and fuzzy animals, toys and dolls pranced onto the kitchen table, ready to aid Peachie in her cookery quest.
The animals emptied the contents of the cupcake kit and inspected the items carefully: cake mix, icing powder, cupcake cases, pink sugar sprinkles, princess sugar paper, stickers and an activity sheet. Melody, the shyest of the bunch, bravely helped out by placing an egg on the table.
Peachie began placing the cupcake cases in her baking tray one-by-one. The creatures watched with anticipation (or was it impatience? Seriously she took forever.)
Then it was time to pour the mysterious pre-made cake mix into the bowl. What wonderous ingredients were used to make this powder? Nobody knew...
Soon the eggs and water were added, and it was time to whisk-whisk-whisk! Here is a random picture of Peachie and the whisk because her camera could not take an actual whisking-picture without a load of blur.
"Shiny, sticky, sugary goop... You will soon become beautiful cupcakes!"
"Whew, are we done yet?" asked Peachie.
"... You haven't even put the mix in the tray," noted Cinnamoroll.
As Peachie carefully put scoops of the sugary goop into the cases, Melody dipped one of her paws in and had a taste. A naughty plush, to say the least!
Peachie then slipped the tray into the oven...
...Then she set the very practical-and-reliable timer for 15 minutes.
After that came the waiting game. Peachie was getting tired of waiting around in the kitchen. Cinnamoroll scolded her for lack of patience.
DING! It was time to take the cupcakes out!
"Oh look! They're not burnt!" said Peachie with glee. Cinnamoroll's eye twitched.
Ohhh... They did look delicious. But cupcakes aren't complete without their delicious frosting and decoration! Peachie had to fight off temptations to take an early bite.
It didn't take long before the icing was spread in thick layers on the cupcakes.
"Hmm..." mumbled Peachie, "They're missing something..."
With a cheerful twirl and a giggle as well, Cinnamoroll conjoured up a sparkling spell! (No rhyme intended... *cough*)
Now the cupcakes had that magical touch!
Peachie topped them off with some random corporate-endorsement characters.
And finally, the delicious magical princess cupcakes were complete!
"But before we can eat, we've got to get some milkshake first!" smiled Peachie, pouring some strawberry milkshake into her favourite cup and frothing it up with some help from her Hello Kitty wand.
"Are you sure you don't want some with me?" said Peachie.
"Ew, are you kidding me?" said Cinnamoroll, "No way. I saw what Melody was doing with that mix." The white puppy flew off with a grumpy huff.
(Peachie suddenly realised how tiny the cupcakes were.)
~ END ~
I... wasn't sure wether to just do the sheet and feel like a 5 year old, or obliterate it with equally immature scribbles... -_-
My outfit (no jewellery this time, would have got in the way of baking.)
